CyberSkills/Vermont, a
non-profit organization located at 294
North Winooski Ave. in Burlington, is a program of CCTV,
Burlington’s government access television station.
CyberSkills/Vermont provides computer training, job skill
training and technical support to job seekers, non-profit
organizations and small business owners in the region. Public
classes are available on site or can be delivered via a
portable computer lab anywhere in the state and range from
Computer Basics to Database Management to Web Development
applications. The organization is a collaborator with other
statewide agencies in providing programs in workforce development
and in the nonprofit arena.
The mission of CyberSkills/Vermont is to build a community
where no one is left out of the economic and cultural
promise of the information age. Financial assistance and
scholarships are available, ensuring that those who need
classes to enter or advance in the workforce can attend.
“People First, Technology Second” is at the core of their
training philosophy.
