Vermont Department of Labor - Community Resource Center
Description: Our Resource Centers offer services to employers and job seekers alike.

For employers, the Resource Center offers interview space, assistance in posting jobs and help with information on human resource issues.

For job seekers, you will find a Resource Room in each Center where you will have access to personal computers, the internet, educational resources, information on employers, workshops and more. Our centers are equipped with assistive technology for individuals with disabilities. A Veterans Representative is also available to provide specific resources to veterans.

Vermont Food Venture Center
Description: Vermont Food Venture Center’s mission is to furnish all the necessary resources for entrepreneurs to start or grow a specialty food business. By assisting with the development of value-added products and providing ongoing technical assistance to the state’s specialty food producers, the Center strengthens Vermont agriculture.

An annual membership fee entitles members to product development services which include: a half-day food safety and sanitation course; initial assistance with recipe, packaging, regulatory and label approval; marketing assistance; wholesale food and packaging services; and supplier and distributor information. The Center also provides expertise in research and development for new or existing products.

The Center is organized into three production areas (kitchen, bakery and packaging rooms), fully equipped with necessary utensils and stainless steel worktables. Dry, freezer and cooler storage areas are also available.
