2006 Requests for Funding

Our 2006 allocation represents a cut of $93,232 from last year.

Applications are separated into the Public Service and Development categories because federal law caps the amount of CDBG funding that can be spent on Public Service projects at 15% of the City's total allocation. Applications are further separated into subject categories for convenience; this separation is somewhat subjective as some applications do not fit easily into a category and/or span more than one category.

All applications are available for public review at the Community & Economic Development Office.  You can also see a list of applications and awards for the 2005, 2007 and 2008 programs years online.

The CDBG Advisory Board reviewed the applications and made the following recommendations.  These recommendations were accepted by the Mayor and by City Council.
