2008 Requests for Funding

Our 2008 allocation represents a cut of $28,635 from last year.

Applications are separated into the Public Service and Development categories because federal law caps the amount of CDBG funding that can be spent on Public Service projects at 15% of the City's total allocation. Applications are further separated into subject categories for convenience; this separation is somewhat subjective as some applications do not fit easily into a category and/or span more than one category.

All applications are available for public review at the Community & Economic Development Office.

The CDBG Advisory Board has reviewed the applications  and made recommendations to the Mayor and the City Council, which were approved in May 2008.
