Education

Quality of education is generally recognized as a significant factor in a family's decision on where to live. The information presented here does not necessarily reflect the quality of education in the Burlington School District - but it is information that is generally available to the public, including (presumably) families making decisions about the community in which they want to live.

The Vermont Agency of Human Services prepares annual "Community Profiles" which report, on a school district basis, several education indicators. The information in the following two charts comes from the 2001 Community Profiles.
