7:00 Introductions and Ground Rules
We will start at 7:00 pm SHARP - Please arrive on time
 
7:05 Open Forum
Announce upcoming community events or suggest a topic for a future NPA meeting. Please limit yourself to 2 minutes per announcement.
 
7:15 Burlington Electric Dept. Draft IRP
BED’s Draft Integrated Resource Plan is available for public comment. This is a 20-year plan that will guide BED in every facet of its operations as we move toward the post fossil fuel economy. BED hopes to achieve a 100 percent renewable energy portfolio. Hear how they plan to make it happen.
 
7:25 Strategic Sidewalk Plan
Nicole Losch - The City is beginning to develop a sidewalk strategic plan; we would like to: 1. Introduce this project, 2. Discuss pedestrian corridors and destinations and have residents identify their priority corridors and destinations, 3. Recruit volunteers to assist with a citywide sidewalk inventory that will occur in May.
 
7:40 Legacy Update
Jennifer Green - 1. The history of Legacy including the 5 main themes of the 2030 vision; 2. The importance of keeping the vision alive -- and the need to include a broad base of institutions, individuals, and city partners; 3. Future Legacy direction.
 
7:55 E2C2 Plan and Citizen Input
Jennifer Green - The Energy and Environment Coordinating Committee has created recommendations for the City Council. They will present their recommendations and are looking for feedback from the public.
 
8:10 School Board Update
Amy Werbel and Fred Lane will update us on the reorganization of the school board and their focus for the coming months.
 
8:20 City Council Update
Joan Shannon and Bill Keogh will update us on the City Council and the issues before them.
