Community Dialogue on Social Equity

We All Belong Initiative - We All Belong is a new project in partnership with the Burlington School District creating a welcoming community for all people. This project uses art, service projects and discussions to build understanding with others in our community.

AmeriCorps*State - CEDO AmeriCorps*State is your chance to create a more welcoming community. AmeriCorps members serve full or part-time to address critical needs in the community. Members work in non-profits and institutions.

AmeriCorps*VISTA - CEDO AmeriCorps*VISTA is your chance to put your ideas into action while learning new skills and making new connections. A*VISTAs serve as full-time volunteers for a year and provide crucial support to the community and to community organizations. They help to develop and establish new programs, raise funds, and create change.

Community Events - Each year CCAN organizes and hosts community-wide events that engage Burlington residents and businesses in the recognition of our diversity, our successes, and opportunities to make our City a better place to live.

Leadership Training Series - Workshops for community members, National Service volunteers, non-profit and City staff to develop skills in meeting facilitation, collaborative process and decision making, conflict resolution, outreach, event planning and more.

Technical Assistance for Non-Profits and Municipal Departments - CCAN provides support locally, nationally and internationally in areas of leadership development, organizational management, moving from community dialogue to community change and community organizing and outreach.

Neighborhood Buzz E-Newsletter - Sign up for weekly email update of community events, workshops, trainings, and notifications. Contact Jenny Davis at jdavis@ci.burlington.vt.us.

Welcome Campaigns - CCAN welcomes new arrivals to our community! We provide information about the community to refugees, students and other new arrivals to Burlington.
