Neighborhood Planning Assembly (NPA) Each of the seven geographic districts (Wards) of Burlington has an NPA organized and run by neighborhood leaders. The NPAs work to improve the quality of life in Burlington and to give citizens a forum to voice their opinions, take action on their concerns, and do neighborhood improvement projects. People who attend NPA meetings learn about City issues
and let officials know what they want and need in their
neighborhood. Each Ward of the City has a regularly
scheduled monthly meeting; all residents are encouraged to
attend. “From trees to major development projects,
the NPAs offer a way to make your opinions heard on
neighborhood and city issues.” |
