This property is not listed on available databases (May 2002) of active or closed hazardous waste sites, landfills, or registered underground storage tank (UST) sites. Several active or closed hazardous waste sites and registered UST sites are located within a one mile radius of this property. However, potential environmental risk to the subject property posed by these neighboring sites should be minimal, given this property is serviced by municipal water and not an on-site groundwater or surface water supply. There is the potential for residual petroleum and /or solvent impacts at the property and for the existence of floor drains, given the property’s apparent use as a Maintenance Shop (see below) for 24 or more years. Potential environmental or business risks would be identified and characterized during the process of a Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessment.
